Lionel PERRIN received his Ph.D. in 2004 from Université Montpellier (Odile Eisenstein and Laurent Maron directors) and joined the CNRS in 2005. Since 2013, he is group leader of a group entitled Interface Theory Experiment: Mechanism and Modeling (ITEMM) at Université Lyon I. His research focuses on the interplay between experiments and theory in polymerization and multistep organic reactions catalyzed by organometallic species.
Paolo LARINI received his Ph. D. in 2010 from the University of Turin (Prof. Prandi) on the synthesis of strigolactones analogues. He is expert in the field of organic (multistep synthesis), organometallic chemistry (transition metal catalysis) and computational chemistry (DFT). Laying at the interface between theory and experiments, and due to his interests in ligand design for metal complexation and reaction mechanisms investigations, he has various interdisciplinary collaborations.
